How do i change the bulbs with this mirror?

Im able to take off the plastic sheilding. But too dumb to get any farther, or do i just try to take out the bulbs from there?

Ok, but when i do, what kind of bulbs to get? Would LEDs fit in there?

Do i need special LEDs, bcuz i went to Radioshack, to change the dome-light into LEDs. And they needed more info than just this:

But yea, i suck at modding...

So i assume this is the mirror that some ppl hav. Doesn't look liek there is a way to take it apart.

Hmm...do you guys think i should just bust the bulbs and take it out piece-by-piece? Liek others have...

It's an old thread, but I must say the map lights kicked my *** tonight.

I changed the feet area? lights and dome. The map lights those were glued in there from factory.

...end rant.

number 1. leaking liquid? is that what makes my mirror turn blue when light hits it?

number 2. i want my interior lights to be brighter (dome, floor, map, cluster, door and radio lights) but i dont want to use LEDs. i dont like the bluish tint. is it possible to get regular brighter bulbs that fit?

number 3. LEAKING!? omg

Yep, electrochromic fluid makes it dim. No way to fix, just need to replace.

Not all LEDs are bluish. You can buy bright white bulbs. IDK of many brighter non-LED choices.
