Default sub box

The max dimensions before stuff starts getting tough is 15in high and 36in wide the length is up to you. And i believe that fits in the trunk, and if u are really serious about the sub box thing, you can tank off the back seat and one of the front seats and fit it through there, but the width dimensions would be smaller. I have researched the max box i can put in there too, the dimensions that ive decided on for when i upgrade are 15H (so i dont hit my 6'9's and to leave room to play with), 36in wide( leave room for my trunk lid to close and tiny room to play with again), and 20in long (so i have just enough room for stuff, and mainly my golf clubs). I leave room to play with so my measurements are quarter to half short. Hope this helps, sorry for any speeling or syntex errrs!

hey mrl 390, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to post this, as it is quite useful. I got everything just about done on my system, but I cant find that dang grommet for the amp wire. I looked around the brake booster and such, without much luck. I dont want to tear all that sound deadening stuff out, but I've been doing a decent job moving it out of the way. I have a 3.1 LS, so I dont know if that makes a difference. What side of the brake booster is yours on, left right? Thanks much!

believe me. the grommet is there. just get a 2 foot long stick and a REALLY bright flashlight and poke around. if you are looking at the front of the car the grommet is on the left of the booster i think

Yeah its there, be careful though. When i got mine out, it fell out and i couldnt find it. I bought some strip caulk stuff to put around my power wire to make a sorta grommit thing. It worked, but i just wanted to give out a fyi to not lose that grommit if you are think about drilling through it to run the power wire through.
