Nice bump space
FYI - For members looking to replace the lower intake gaskets, DO NOT BUY ANY PLASTIC/NYLON gaskets. Replace with Fel-Pro aluminum gaskets. This will help aid in never messing with them again.
Also, if you need a new upper intake, go with the APN one, found here:
GM Intake Manifold Kit
This one has a few features the other vendors don't offer and was re-designed with the help of a Bonneville 3800 community.

How hard is it to get one of these 3800 supercharged engines into a 1995 z34 and make it run right?
Thanks

That was a great article. Very interesting that a design that old survived as long as it did. The 3800 is a fantastic engine. It's easily modified to make more horsepower if that's your thing or it can be left along and will get great mpg on the highway.
I had a 1988 Delta 88 that I purchased for $1500 with 188,000 miles on the clock. That car had the series I 3800 and believe it or not got 30-33 miles per gallon on the highway. I sold it at 230,000 miles for $1100. Still running strong when I sold it.
