ive got a 04 monte carlo ss supercharged (dale jr series) and am wondering what is best way to gain horsepower for best money wise. its a 3800 series 3.8L 6 cyl supercharged so im not sure which guide i should use. any suggestions please let me know

please excuse my ignorance, what are L36 and L67?? all I know is that I have a v6 3800 ss

L36 = Naturally Aspirated Series II 3800 v6

L26 = Naturally Aspirated Series III 3800 v6

L67 = Supercharged Series II 3800 v6

L32 = Supercharged Series III 3800 v6

L36 is the RPO code for the N/A 3.8L Series II while L67 is the RPO code for the Supercharged 3.8L Series II. An RPO code is a code GM uses to designate a feature or part on a vehicle.

It sounds like your Monte is a 2004 non supercharged SS. If you open the hood, the engine cover will say something like "3800 V6 Series II". Then if you look at the list that I gave you, you will find "Naturally Aspirated Series II 3800 v6" and that is listed as an L36.

how can i tell if it is a L67 and so forth all i know is mine is a 3800 series 2
