I do not have the old hinge. Can you upload a blueprint/sketch of each side to use for tracing? It appears you used angle aluminum stock. Do you dis-assemble the lid/remove the padding to access the nuts? Thanx and It looks great.

thanks I never thought of that, our lid is broke to, I may just go to a junk yard with a sharpee and some cardboard and make a template

Yes you have to remove the padding of the lid to drill the holes and bolt it to the lid base. It just comes off with some screws.

the only think I think I will do differant is file the edges and paint it flat black or with some bed liner to make it look a little mor factory

Yeah mine wasnt really for looks, just for functionality.

That is sweet! I had used JB Weld to try to fix mine. One broke, so its holding on with one. I had gotten it from the junkyard. One was totally broken off, one was still barley hanging on. Might give this a try!

I have a 96 Z34 and when I bought it the lid was broke. I can't find any and can't figure a way to fix it.

In that boat too... cant find the time to get to the junkyard I would totally buy one of these as well
