I would NEVER recommend re-using a trans pan gasket. I normally pan drop, filter, fluid change about every 100K miles. In that time, rubber, paper or cork, the gasket takes a beating (some on the brink of beginning to seep fluid out). If you drop it, change it. If you don't like the one that came with your filter or kit, don't be cheap, buy one you are happy with.

If you want to you can come down and change it out this warm weekend.

Not bad. When I changed trans fluids in the past I reuse the factory gasket, it was better quality than what I purchased at autozone.
