just try not to get the cheapest part they start about 8$ and go to like 20$ make sure the car is not hot and you will lose a little antifreeze when you change it

Cool. I have coolant as needed so I am good there. Yeah for it to be cool. I may have to wait until sat morning becuase it stays pretty hot out here. It has been getting into the mid 80's now and been pretty humid. Do I have to bleed the coolant system? Any information on that such as a bleed screw, etc? I may as well replace the thermostat as well since I think they are in the same place.

OK if you do the thermostat you will want to drain 1 gallon of antifreeze out of the radiator you still may leak about 1/2 a cup of antifreeze out when you do the temp sensor (all ways a little left ) my drain plug is on lower driver side on mine make sure you do the temp sensor slow and strait easy to cross thread . last of all i got my thermostat at NAPA for like 39$ it is best to do it all at once for sure

OK so I also checked the ohms on the coolant sensor. After the car was sitting for 4 hours, i saw around 1k or so ohms. I reconnected and let it get warmed up. Checked again and it was in the 20-30 range. It was difficult reading it while trying to get my hands in there with the probes. Does this sound about right? The only other item in the loop here is the PCM correct? Possible issue there?

anyone have any other thoughts on this? I am trying to understand the wiring diagrams... I am not seeing any codes that would tell me if was a fan or fuse issue such as the P1651 or 52. anything else i can possible check voltages or resistance on?
