Default WOT problem code P0300 crusing is fine though

Today I was in a passing lane and did a WOT run to pass and noticed the car felt flat at about 4000rpm and then it just held at about 5000rpm and wouldnt shift. Then the check engine light started flashing.

So to test it again I tried in 1st gear and it did about the same thing but then the light stayed on and I got a code P0300. When crusing the car runs fine its only doing it a full throttle. I just turned 157K on it, does anyone think it could just need plugs/wires? They havent been changed yet but as I stated other than full throttle it runs fine so I was thinking spark blowout from worn plugs...Any advise before I start dunping money on it would be appreaciated.

Thanks

Clean MAF, Plugs, wires, fuel filter, ICM

In that order replace/do them until the problem goes away.

Just a quick update...I cleaned the MAF, changed the plugs/wires and was still doing it. After all day of messing around trying to figure it out, it turned out to be a clogged cat. Runs great again!

Dammit, I'm sorry man, I totally forgot about that issue. Sorry again. I should've mentioned that.
