Whats the Deal?
SO I CALLED THE GUY IM BUYING MY MONTE FROM AND HE SAID HE WAS DRIVING IT AND THAT IT HAS NO POWER WHEN DRIVING! IDLES FINE BUT WHEN YOU GO TO SPEED UP IT SPEEDS UP SLOWLY! COULD IT BE DIRTY CARB, PLUGGED CAT? WHATS THE DEAL?

A couple of things first.
1) Please don't use all caps. It looks like you're shouting and it's very difficult to read.
2) I take it that this is an 1982 Monte? If so, what engine is in it?
3) A plugged cat can take away power, and with the little power that the early 80's Monte's had, it's quite possible that that could be the case.
