What plugs to use in a turbo 3.8L?
Hey guys, I just got this car and i'm wondering what the best plugs areto use in the 3.8L Turbo V6 engine?
It has Bosch Platinums in it now but I was told not to use those on a turbo car as they promote detonation....
Thanks, Gordon

Dont use bosch plugs on anything. They suck. Go with AC Delco platinumsor Autolite platinums. My car came stock with double platinums but I replaced them with Autolite single platinums. They work fine. Does the car have an owners manual? Im not sure if the owners manual would tell you what plugs came stock, but if it does, use what it says came stock.
I despise Bosch plugs [:@]
I don't have a manual for the car so I'll just grab a set of normal AC delco's for now.
I called the dealership and their book says the car takes "spark plugs" LOL not even a brand or type just "spark plugs".

Ya I figured "normal" plugs are better safe then sorry when dealing with a turbo engine.
My wifes Mazda MX6 Gt has a 2.2L turbo in it.. according to the manual you are never to run anything but AC delco in it due to detonation issues caused by hotter burning plugs.

What year is the car, and what turbo kit is it?
