What Kind of Oil to Use?

I have a 3400. I've been using 5W30 all the time. I was wondering since the engine is working harder in the summertime should I use 10W30 instead, or does it matter?

i'm switching to 10w30 next oil change, i run royal purple synthetic, and i've run 10w30 in every vehicle i've had, it wont hurt anything to run 10w30 instead of 5w30
