Here's my honest opinion.

Get rid of the K&N because it is terrible. When you start to modify and purchase a PCM to increase your timing, your intake will be sucking in such hot air that it will PULL timing against the PCMs wants and you will knock your engine like crazy.

Don't worry about a different throttle body, with little mods it isn't worth it.

I would look into a ZZP 2.5" downpipe, and a ZZP front powerlog. That will take away the restrictions of your exhaust. Couple that with a new and real CAI, and get the PCM done last. You will be very happy with the car after that.

Like what Trewyn15 said, depending on your mods should deteremine if you want a PCM Tune or a Dyno Tune. My 1987 Monte Carlo SS had to be dyno tuned due to being very heavily modified. And always remember, expensive and fancy mods dont always mean alot more power.

Yeah i dont plan on doing any BIG mods like that. I think i might add a throttle body and maybe something with the exhaust but not sure. I have a 62 nova Super gas car that i can spend big money on. I just want my girl to have a little better performance since it kinda lacks it. Its an every day driver. A PCM and throttle body and something with the exhaust is probably all im going to do with her in performance!

Throttle body is a waste of money unless you modify further...

Honestly if you going to go with a Bigger throttle body(im assuming your going to go bigger) then go with a CAI to match it. As for the exhaust go bigger. If you get more air coming in you want more air coming out, your engine will flow better. Even though i said get a CAI to match it, you need to modify performance mods a little more to actually make use of the throttle body. Waste of money otherwise, like Chibi said.

This exactly, if you're going to do a throttle body you should do the aluminum UIM and get that fully ported along with the LIM.

i see you have a fast car already and i know you might say it now that you just want a light mod dd, but once you start modding you gonna want more power. trust me LOL! my opinion is turbo it and call it a day cuz by the time you start modding the dollars sign will add up and that dollars will cost almost about same amount as a turbo kit, plus it will be a sleeper grocery getter.
