Default What chip do you reccomend for my 2004 monte carlo ss?

Ive been on the ZZP performance webpage and have been looking into the ZZP 1.0 PCM. I like everything that it offers and think it would be a great investment to give a little power. Just wondering with you people who have this found a difference when you put it on or what other think about other tuners that they have? Thanks

They're not called 'chips' they're 'pcms' like you've stated.

I would look into overkill motorsports

You should mod more before you go with a tune though.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything but if Taz sees that language on here he wont be happy. What mods do you have? you could always get a custom tune from overkill.

K&N intake, Resonator delete, governor delete, NGK plugs, and just ordered wires. That's it right now. I dont have it out of storage yet.

So are you set on that PCM or are you going to do more? If you're going to mod more I'd wait until you're at a point youre happy with and get a tune.

Was just trying to help you out because there is a difference between a chip and an actual pcm tune, no need to get all butt hurt man

I agree with BlackRain, if you're going to mod more, hold out on the tune until you're done or near the end of modding.

It's not common sense to all, some don't know the difference, there are no 'required mods' for a tune, but I suppose you know that.

What mods do you have planned for your Monte?

Im not going to be putting a supercharger on it or anything outrageous anymore. i decided to spend that money on my Super Gas Nova. If i do it will be little extras like maybe a new throttle body in the future or something idk i havnt looked into anything else really
