Just a guess, I'd say mass airflow sensor - How does it run off idle?
could be throttle position sensor if it runs ok off idle.

My vote, your TPS sensor is toast.

Have you pulled any codes yet? Run it to Twilight Zone to see if it's saved any DTC's..

I've seen problems similar to this with a vacuum leak as well. Have you recently gotten a new K&N Filter or cleaned the existing one?

Sometimes simply cleaning the MAF sensor will help, I think I've heard that people commonly use brake/contact cleaner with success?

There also is a IAC (idle air control) valve that could be messing up, Chris (SCC24540) was having that problem where he had to keep replacing them... turned out his MAF sensor was dirty andeverything worked fine after cleaning it. The IAC shouldn't be bad, but if replacing/cleaning the MAF doesn't help, that would be the next place to look.

Near the end of the tape the car would idle at 2-2.25k, then you restarted twice and it was fine. Did you do anything at all besides restart the engine twice?

nope, just turned it off and turned it on. Ill take a look at the MAF sensor and give that a good cleaning... I called my only dealership in the area, a "69.99 dollar diagnostic fee will be applied" then, after they decide to rape me on that, "it shouldnt take more than an hour for shop labor, so you shouldnt pay more than those two and parts". ahhh, $%^@ that...
