Talking turbo monte upgrades :)

ok everyone i just bought a 1" gmr 7/16 pitch 3.52 gear ratio trans chain and gear set and a Meziere Billet Flexplate for turbo monte! i am in the process of possibly buying a gmr torsen diff as well and cartuning performances 3rd gear piston and trans pan adapter along with my turbo upgrade (t66, 3" dp's, 2.5" charge pipes, meth injection) for this winters project

now onto a few questions, anyone familiar with the 1" 7/16 pitch chain? im under the assumption there needs to be machining done for clearance? anything else need to be done to use the chain and torsen diff?

also i am having engine coolant and trans temp issues, i cant seem to keep it cool everytime i jump on it i see my temps spike like crazy. i need to find a way to keep her cool any ideas?
i am running a 180 degree t-stat and the fans are tuned to come on earlier as well. i also have an aftermarket trans cooler but dont seem to be helping any....

finally once i start this upgrade i will be selling all the used parts i am replacing:

7/8" 2.93 trans chain
hd diff
precision 61 trim t4 turbo (cartuning turbo)
cartuning 2.5" downpipes (upper and lower)
stainless plog

none of this is for sale yet but come fall/winter it will be

If you are familiar with VW they use air cooled engines. The underbody has plates to direct air to the engine. under your front facia you could attach a few air dirrecting plates to help cool the block. Also run a bigger radiator. Another thing you can do is ceramic coat your exhaust and turbo pipes. with all the turbo piping you are making more heat under hood then you should.
