turbo 350 swap

does anyone know how far the torque converter should move towards the flexwheel. The torque converter installed on tranny fine it moves about 3/4 to meet the flexwheel dos this sound right

usually its about 3/8- 1/2 inch. is it a stock convertor or a higher stall?
