Default Intake Manifold Runners

Whats the general HP gain for removing the runners in the intake manifold my buddy has an 01 SS and has to replace the upper manifold and wants to know if its worth it to take them out. Thanks

I wouldnt take them out. I think you would lose performance there. ZZP sells different inserts for the intakes. If you wanted to do anything with the intake, that would be your best bet.

x2, keep the runners unless you're putting in the HV3 from ZZP.

And it doesn't ADD any horsepower, but when you are already high in the powerband or on the highway, the HV3 gives back a lot of the horsepower lost there.
