Default Turbo for a 3400?

I was thinking about throwing a turbo on my 2004 Monte Carlo with the 3.4 v6, but I really don't know much about where to find one and what all I would need to buy in order to turbo it properly. If someone has information that would answer these questions that would be great!

The link Brendocee posted is probably your best bet.
For W-Body cars, like our Montes with a 3400, I don't think there is an out-of-box bolt on kit. You may need to adapt a n-body/grand am kit or custom fabricate your own.

Yeah would be cool to see one of those superchargers that were made for the Grand Am Gt on a MC

IMO if you have to start a thread like this, you are no where near ready to turbo your car. Take your time, do your research. Learn about turbo's, how they work, supporting mods needed, etc. Then try and find threads, builds, and any other info related to the 3400 (even if it's from a different car). There's a good chance you'll end up having to build a custom "kit" yourself, but that's not a big deal (but it can get expensive). I knew nothing more than the basics when I built my big turbo car. I started off spending hours and hours a day reading on turbos. I spoke to a lot of people, and always made sure I was asking specific questions that couldn't easily be found online. No one wants to spoonfeed someone info. I slowly built up my parts pile and by the time I had everything, I knew enough to build the car.

Short list of what you'll need:

- turbo (pick one based off of your budget and power goals)
- custom turbo manifold
- wastegate
- custom downpipe
- custom intercooler piping
- intercooler
- blow off valve
- FUEL! (rails, injectors, high flow pump)
- custom oil pan
- engine management (ecu reflash, rrfpr, stand alone, or a piggyback)
- transmission? I think with an auto trans you're going to need to add a cooler, but confirm that with your research
