I e-mailed him also about the 3900 pcm and he said he does them. I again e-mailed him about it recently and had no response, so I went to his site and saw about him being on vacation also. Hopefully he gets back to all of us soon, because I need more performance out of my Monte....

Yes he makes them for a 3400 V6, and yes I think it's worth it. You will get more power and you're right, the tranny changes alone are worth it!!!

So i just checked my old emails and found that Will told me he should be returning the 8th of this month. Everybody should be having all their questions answered and orders shipped very soon. Please post your opinions if you have ordered a canned tune and have tried it out for a bit

Will just contacted me last night, he says he will be sending my tune out today and he will be getting to everybodys emails by the end of the week. On another note kind of off topic, ive been having what seems like transmission problems lately and thats why i was looking forward to buying this PCM. I have also been receiving a service traction control message so i finally decided to look into that. Turns out it could be a bad speed sensor wiring harness and if thats causing the speed sensor to not function properly it would appear that this could cause the shuddering and jerking i appear to get from my transmission.

I will keep everybody posted on this, if wills PCM may cure my problem or if it is indeed the speed sensor harness.

Thats funny, I started getting the Service Traction control message too, randomly and then it would go off and stay off. Then over the weekend it came on, but this time it came on with the service engine light too. I did some research online, and form what I found, looks like it is PROBABLY the Camshaft Position Sensor causing my service engine (code P0011, timing over advanced) and Service traction light. Made sense after I thought about it that both lights were coming on. Because I am assuming the traction control is linked to the cam sensor in some way, I know when you slip the wheels, and trigger traction control, it automatically retards the timing, so it would make sense that they are connected in some way, hence both lights coming on.

So I have high hope that a new $30 sensor fixes both my Service Engine and Service Traction control light. We'll see after I replace the sensor this weekend.

Could this have anything to do with the crank position relearn that you said needed to be done after installed the tuned PCM? Maybe the relearn was needed due to a bad crankshaft/camshaft position sensor?
