Transmission Pan Gasket

The old fluid looks pretty nasty so I wasn't sure which option would be better. Maybe I'll just drop the pan do the filter then change more fluid at my next oil change. Thanks guys

You would only to replace the bolts if the washer has been torqued down to much and caused it to invert.

Its (20) 10mm bolts going around the pan. I bought the filter and gasket kit from oreillys and the gasket looked like a crappy design so since mine was in good condition I reused it and so far so good. I actually did mines 2 days ago and had tranny fluid everywhere lol. The fluid looked brownish but I had no metal pieces or shavings just some gunky stuff on the magnet. The seafoam trans tune stuff is great! My shifts are smoother and I cant even feel when its going from 2nd to 3rd and I have a broken passenger engine bracket and busted motor mounts!

I have 6mm bolts. The oil pan is 10mm.

Your kit came with 6mm bolts instead of 10mm?

No, when I got the SS it was missing 4 of the bolts. I had to find the right size, that's how I know....I started buying 7mm first, then had to go to a 6.
