IIRC the 95-96 Z34's and 95-99 LS' all had the 4T60E while the 97-99 Z34's had the 4T65E.

Just an update, i just ordered a L36 with 56,000 (no l67's within 200 miles) (planning on an l67 top end swap before it goes in the car.) also ordered a 4t65e trans to bolt up to it. whole thing- engine and trans cost me less than $1k! ordered a high performance rebuild kit for the trans and several little things for the engine - seals, springs, bearings, etc. planning on a April or May intall date, i am going to stick it on a rotory engine mount for a while, and build it up BEFORE it goes in the car, then paint 2 weeks later- oh deadlines!! the stress!!

Don't forget to get the hard to find engine harness from a Monte Z34 or Lumina Z34 with the 3800 and a PCM to match.

I am a big ebay-er so that wont be a problem, just didn't want to pay $300 + to have an engine shipped. I'm sure I will be on here plenty with questions and updates.
