I'm pretty sure that Dexron VI is full synthetic, use it, it's that much better

 

Dexron VI is not a FULL Synthetic from the factory. It is a Semi-Synthetic.

But you can buy FULL Synthetic formulas of it. I know Valvoline makes a Fully Synthetic, Amsoil does, and Red Line does...So far those are the only ATF's that meet Dexron VI spec that are FULL synthetic. (at least those are the only one's that i've found, let me know if anyone finds others)

IMO, i love AMSoil. tranny and motor run it. I love it because its a full synthetic. A little more pricey, but you dont have to change it as often. motor oil i change every 5k, and the tranny now that i got it changed about a month ago, probably wont see another change until i swap the tranny for a built one. I've never seen my tranny temp go above 195 degrees, even when i drove to san jose and it was 100 degrees out.
