I believe it's a little under 8 quarts of trans fluid after the filter change.

I have heard about the tranny flush thing too, about it making trannys fail. If the fluid is really old replace the 8 qts or so when you do the change with cheap fluid and then run it for a few miles. Then drain it all again and replace with the 8 new quality Dexron VI fluids. This way your swapping out i would bet 75% of the old crappy fluid. See the drain plug pan would work here already. Get a NAPA filter with new gasket.

Darn, I wish I had this link a while back. I bought the same pan off of ebay for $52. I plan on changing my fluid again soon and putting this pan on. I used Valvoline Dexron VI the last time I changed it.
