How much do you think it would cost to have someone install it for me if I bought the parts? It probably won't be for about a year just because my income isn't that much and I have other things to pay for.

You will need to find someone very very familiar with doing this kind of conversion. Paying a shop to do it will cost $$$$$$

Just think of how much changing the LIM costs at a shop, and think it's the same amount of work, but you put together a different engine than you take apart

That's if you use the ZZP SSM90 top swap parts. If you're doing a normal top swap, you'd be looking at least the labor for a head gasket change (plus a balancer removal).

IMO, if you were afraid to do all the work yourself for a top swap- I'd look into ZZP's Z3 turbo kit. By the time you add up the cost of the hard parts, gaskets, fluids, and all the money a shop would charge you to do 'custom' work- I bet you'd be getting awfully close to the $2400 of the Z3 kit that you could install yourself and not have to worry about some random shop goofing it up. The turbo kits aren't nearly as bad to do as a top swap or full L67 swap.
