Yeah it's hard to tell if someone is upset online. Glad everyone here is cool. If I do get a 5th gen you'll be the guys im asking for advice because you two know what's up for sure. and I'm painting my rims like nitehawkjcb's

Will go to 140 at least I know. As far as technical standards get from there I'm not sure, but thats where the speedometer stops :P

the 7th gen ss has a higher limeter i think than the ls-ltz 7th gen the limiter on the v6 7th gen is at 107. i was at the track one day when there was run what you brung test and tune i was wondering what mine would do when i got a port and polish done when i had the heads off because of a bad head gasket. i got up to 107 quick but it felt it wanted to go past and stay at 115-120 with ease any day. i do think that they set it low for the v6 is the limitation of the v6 is great but it is under rated motor just wish there were more parts for it and a higher speed limiter

I do think some of it was false, I had a broken motor mount
