the 7th gen ss has a higher limeter i think than the ls-ltz 7th gen the limiter on the v6 7th gen is at 107. i was at the track one day when there was run what you brung test and tune i was wondering what mine would do when i got a port and polish done when i had the heads off because of a bad head gasket. i got up to 107 quick but it felt it wanted to go past and stay at 115-120 with ease any day. i do think that they set it low for the v6 is the limitation of the v6 is great but it is under rated motor just wish there were more parts for it and a higher speed limiter

 

The newer GP GXPs with the 5.3 have hit over 150. If that makes any difference.

 

the fastest i ever had my z34 was 105 and then my wipers started freaking out lol
