Tic Noise
It may be something minor or nothing at all. My father used the Sthetascope on the area i hear the tic but he hears nothing. Did it on the valve cover, exhaust, fuel rail and nothing.
I videoed the area i hear it coming from, it dont get louder just faster when reved up as you hear. Car is fully warm in the video, oil is topped off as so is the trans fluid is topped off.
Only thing i can think of for it to be in taht area is either there's a clogged fuel injector, which i put in gummount injector cleaner 4 days ago, or something to do with throttle or air intake.
I bought the car 3 weeks ago, and changed the oil the day after buying it, been 500 miles on the new castrol gtx oil

Here's pictures, as it seems the car has an after market K&M Intake on it. Im not sure if its stock or now but the sticker seems to say its not.

I wanted to add that i do have a bad purge valve which throws code P0455. Ill have that changed eventually when i find the time to get into it and swap it out.
Reading around it seems like its the injectors valves clicking on/off

Welcome to the wonderful world of ticking lifters. It's a 3.4 fact of life. Do a search on this site, you can find people's whose sound a whole lot worse than yours.
Does it go away when the car gets warm?
Where did you see it's injector valves? I'm not aware that injectors themselves had valves, but I might not be thinking of the same thing you're thinking of.

It's normal. The 3400 has had this since it's days of a smaller bore, known as the 3100. Usually the noise disappears when the engine warms.
My wife and I used drive a pair of '94 Grand Ams with the 3100 (we sold hers and I still drive mine). Her's had a VERY pronounced tick on the front head (went away after it warmed). I threw in Motor Honey, noise went away, change oil 3000-5000 miles later, noise came back, add Motor Honey, noise went away, took about 3-4 oil changes and the Motor Honey additive until i believe it went away 100% (it was either Motor Honey or Rislone or I alternated).
I know it sounds weird to say "don't be alarmed". If it's consistent across both heads, it's normal. If you want to try and quiet it, drop Rislone/Motor Honey in after an oil change a couple of times.
Keep up on normal maintenance and it should be fine.
FYI - My wife's current daily is a '05 Impala with a 3400, bought with 150,000 when we bought it, for the price we paid, i was happy with the deal because I've seen the 3100's get high miles (my Grand Am is at about 220,000 and climbing). It has a slight tick like this with one a little louder on the rear head, but no issues and I'm not going nuts, just keeping the oil changed.

Yeah it's just a lifter tick. It is common on a lot of GM's motor's. Also the previous owner probably put a k&n drop in filter. I think it is a reusable filter but I don't knpw that much about them.
