Okay so I figured id make a list of everything I need to do the top swap I want to do this summer. The list is below, please let me know if I'm missing anything or if I can get cheaper/better parts. Thanks!

ZZP gasket kit from ZZP $299.99
ZZP PCM from ZZP $99.99
Speed daddy headers from eBay $208.88
ZZP 3" aluminized cat back exhaust system from ZZP $379.99
Aeroforce scan guage from ZZP $228.99

Extras:
Modular pulley system from ZZP $99.99
A-pillar gauge mount from PFYC $49.99
Maybe a boost gauge and some other gauge?

You missed one part.

A job to fund this.

Lol jk, I don't think you'll need the cat back right away but it's a good idea

jesus with as much as you'll be spending on parts and labor you could just do the full powertrain swap.

The guy who sold me the car is a mechanic and he said he'd be glad to help me out. And I work at Subway and over the summer I plan to work A LOT. What should I get for exhaust if the catback isn't needed?

Thanks!

If his tune is down pat he should be able to increase his HP from 200crank to almost 280 crank depending on his mods of choice and ability to run a specific pulley knock free.

I still think turbo should be your route of choice...

If I were you, I would try getting your gauges used over on clubgp. There's always someone selling gauges there and you can get some good deals.

I also highly recommend an oil pressure gauge, and you should at least consider a wideband O2 gauge as well (do NOT get a narrowband).

I agree with Chibi. He should be easily capable of getting 280 crank hp (~225whp) with that setup with potential of going much higher.
