Unhappy Take a wild Guess>

Just had all of these parts replaced in our Monte.

2004 Supercharged 122000 miles. Car located in Georgia (reference for labor rates).

History before taking it in to the dealership. The car was bucking, hesitating, surging etc.

Codes PO171 and PO102

Replaced intake manifold gaskets, several vacuum leaks, MAF Sensor.

1 x 24503648 Gasket
1 X 24505049 Gasket
1 X 24503911 Gasket
1 X 89017825 Gasket Kit
1 X 24503423 Pipe Assembly
1 X 24505924 Thermostat
2 X 24501563 Seal Throttle
1 X 24503488 Manifold Gasket
5 X Quarts of Oil
1 X fill Coolant
1 X 24508516 Pipe Assembly
1 X 19179715 Sensor
Labor for replacing all of the above.

Note: They had to pull the whole top end of the engine off super charger intake etc to get to the problem. Not to mention all of the other peripherals in the way. Car was in the shop for 7 working days.

I showed up today while they were working on this with the mechanic on top of the engine working on my Monte. It was due two days before today, but I told them just to make sure it was right before I picked it up. We were only there for 5-10 minutes and he was pulling off vacuum lines and pipes that were dry rotten etc. I just told them replace whatever is bad because I don't want to bring it back in a week. I also will say that I have been taking my cars to this dealership since 1996 and although it is a Cadillac / Buick / GMC dealer they work on all GM's.

So take a guess of what a GM dealer would charge for this and I will get back in 24-48 hours and let you know the final results!

If you paid more than $1200 for some gasket changes you were ripped off

Jesus, LIM gasket replacement shouldn't take more than a full day for a shadetree mechanic using hand tools.

I bet you pay not less than 800 bucks.
No kidding. Part# 19179715 is the MAF sensor, which lists at over $350.

Cadillac / Buick / GMC dealer they work on all GM's
FWIW, the L67 originally came in Buicks starting in '96. They should be familiar with the engine in that case.
