Supercharger Pully question

My biggest tip with modding is really plan it out first before doing anything major. I just got easy mods for the sake of doing them and rockers were a good example of that. I really wish I went the cam route instead.
In regards to headers, I ordered pacesetters from zzp but they were back ordered for a couple months at the time so I spent a little extra and went with the zzp ones and am extremely happy I did.
What I am saying is lay out on paper your different options and plan out what will work out the best for you. I'd recommend not modding with a cheaper part for the sake of doing it, but saving up until you can afford the best.
The zzp 1.0 is OK, but not the best. That is what I started with and for the $150 it is a nice improvement over stock. However because each car reacts different to mods getting tuning software and learning to do it yourself is a good idea. This can be close to $1000 for hptuners with a wideband though. Its also a TON of work and knowledge you need to do it properly. So its all about how much time, energy, and money you want to invest.

Yes if you do what lw57912 said only thing he is forgetting is you will need a ported genV as well. Expect right at 300whp with a very good tune. And with that it will be very close on stock cam and stock heads. A good intercooler is key to making it.

Yes this is very true that's why I was going to stop at 300 I figured the tranny could handle that for awhile I plan to get a built tranny around income tax time so u don't think it will fail in the next 4-5 months do u
