Supercharger Oil 2 bottles!

Supercharger Oil 2 bottles!
I was changing the oil in my 05 Monte and decided to also change the supercharger oil. The manual says service every 30k miles. Since this is a used car I have no idea what kind of maintenance was done to this car. So it just turned 60k and I thought well that is a great time to service the supercharger oil. My Fiancee has this tool that hooks up to the air compressor and sucks fluids out. He mainly uses it when he is doing brake jobs. Well anyway we sucked all of the old oil out. I went to a very small local Chevy dealer in town and said I wanted supercharger oil and gave him the part number. He looked it up on his computer and showed that he had some in stock. He couldn't find it, so he said he would ask the the parts guy where it was and said he would ask the tech how much I needed. So a couple of days later I pick up 1 bottle of oil. Well, it wasn't enough! So I got to call all over to find a Chevy dealer that has the oil in stock tomorrow. I have an appt at 9am to get my wheels rebalanced so it's crunch time. I will not operate my car until I get the right amount of supercharger oil in it. RULE OF THUMB 2 BOTTLES OF SUPERCHARGER OIL!

You should need exactly a bottle and a half. They come in four ounce bottles, and the supercharger should hold 6oz
I called a local chevy dealer, and they referred me to a pontiac dealer since the chevy dealer doesn't even carry s/c oil here.
Try calling a Pontiac/Buick dealer.
Since the Pontiacs and Buicks came supercharged since '95, their service and parts departments are much more familiar with the L67 engines than the Chevy dealers are.

I got mine at a chevy dealer here, had 10 bottles in stock. Just make sure you get as much of the old stuff out as possible... I used a turkey baster with a bit of air tubing from a fish tank air pump to get some nice length and flexibility. Nearly none spilled when I pulled the snout off to change the coupler.

I went to a different Chevy dealership (a much larger one) and they had the bottles in stock, and they were even opened at 7am today! I know where to go next time if I need any parts for my car.
