Default Supercharger for 06-07 SS

I found a great turbo kit for the LS4 but I'm more interested in supercharging. Still haven't found much, any suggestions?

I don't know if GM is still making the LS4 in the 2010 lineup or after that, but either way it's possible that a company like Magnuson or ProCharger might be thinking about making a kit for those cars.

I wouldn't say it's bloody likely, but if you're serious about it then you could contact them and then report back with the information you find.

I'm guessing that it would be at least as expensive as a turbo kit based on the parts needed. The CSC kits for the 3800 V6 were too expensive to compete with turbo kits, and I know that most of the roots-style aftermarket supercharger for the other LSx and the Ford setups replace everything from the LIM-up and more.

Either way, forced induction on a FWD V8 and you're going to be breaking transmissions like it's going out of style.

Good luck,

-Riggs.

the problem right now with the supercharger is the mounting of it with the dod components, and then the pulleys and intake. you could mount a ls6 supercharger on it but the belts would be on the wrong end in the mean time the best bet is the turbo, you can modify an ls6 intake manifold to work with the dod components, do the heads, springs, rocker arms, and some tranny work and you will be puttin a good 550 horse down.

has anyone actually gotten the ls6 manifold to work? on another forum there was a guy battling it out with an ls2 manifold but he hasn't finished it yet.
