Ok well i figured i'd post pics of a graph of my spark tables....
what you see is the factory spark advance table and my new tuned and advanced spark table. smoother transitions are always better and the factory wasnt bad but compaired to this tuned table... its crap lol
well on to the pics 1st is factory and the next is tuned.

 

see im jelouse i want to beabel to check all of this on mine becuse im sure there is more to it then it lets on.
but i dont have the right software and teh cabel to hook up to the laptop . to get it done.

but that jus thas the cabel that is USB and OBDII on it right? then the laptop and the program

I jus tneed the cabel not the rest of it. but cant find a cabel to go from the USB to the OBDII on the car.

 

actually it doesnt work off USB. it workes off a older serial cable connection. if your laptop doesnt have a serial port then you will need a usb to serial adapter.

but that is just more then a cable. it has the converter box needed to convert the obd2 signal to something the laptop can read. you also get access to the DHP customer only forum where you can get the help you need to learn to tune the car. also you get the software to read and modify the computer file. and also log scan data needed for making proper corretions to the computer file.

so you just need that and a laptop and once you down load the software your in buisness. DHP also has great tech support...and puts out new software updates, with new features!and other members of the forum are makeing excel templates and even other programs free to down load that make tuning your car very easy and fast. you cant go wrong with it.

 

im defently goign to have to look in to this. im not happy with the tunner i have and i paid the same price for it LOL
btu it did what i wanted at the time it took the rev limitors off of the car and the speed limiters off.

SO for me at that time it was a good thing.
but i would love to beabel to change timming,fule rates etc... would be great to have controll over this stuff.

 

yep the DHP PT is great... what do you have now? maybe you can sell it and put the money toward the new tuner?

 

i have the hypertech computer
it works just would liek to get somethign that i can do more with.

but sure if any one wants to buy it give me a good offer need ot come up with the 350.00 for this one

 

doesnt it adjust your spark tables? i thought they did. i know it wont let you have complete control over the table, but should let your bump it up a little or use one of its own tables?

 

nope they dont adjust spark
they are pretty limited on what they can or cant do . they are great for the person that dose not want to get in to real high preformance. or who just wants to get rid of the limitor and check codes etc..
