Slight hijack here. How do bad plugs manifest themselves? I'm at 9 years and 120k miles and am yet to know if I have a problem, unless I really do and don't know it.

Heck, my 92 F150 with 125k miles still has original copper plugs.

The factory plugs are ac delco iridium. gap them to .06 an inch. They run about 7 bucks a plug at auto zone.

Bad plugs start to break/lose their elements on the plug. The plug could also gather deposits on it and no longer spark as hot as it should to detonate the fuel properly.

Copper plugs should be changed very frequently, like every 10k miles haha
