If there was burnt rubber on the tensioner that means it stopped rotating. It may free wheel without tension on it, but once applied may be enough to get the bearing hot (metal expansion) and begin to seize the tensioner. Slowly rotate the tensioner pulley feeling for rough rotation and/or a grinding noise. My money is still on the tensioner getting ready to seize completely.

Its a little hard to tell from your vid. Were you able to locate the Tensioner?
It should look like the picture
The large black pulley on it should spin freely.... If not, it may have seized (locked up) which could cause the belt to burn, break or jump off.
If it is seized it needs to be replaced.

I think it is a bit complicated on the 3.8L engines because of the coolant elbows ( chime in the 3.8 guys) lol
Try and spin it by hand or maybe some wd40 or penetrating fluid to loosen it before you up and replace it (if youre not pretty handy under the hood) Make sure you dry the pulley and area around it before you put a new belt on.

Good job on the tensioner replacement.
Try and get us some codes, that is a good place to start.
Check your PCV valve, on your front valve cover, it should rattle when you shake it. That affects the MAP sensor.

Also follow the vacuumn line off the map sensor to the fuel pressure regulator( attached to the fuel rail) and pop it off the regulator. does any fuel come out? (thats a sign of a bad fuel pressure reg which could cause your problem)

3 diff codes had came up but the one i remember is p0107, while i had it connected to the scanner i wiggled some wires and the readings where bouncing everywhere so im ordering the connector wires for the MAP now. i took the pcv valve and cleaned it off because it seemed to have oil on it, but it did rattle. when i rev the engine the while MAP and mount jumps, i got a vid on it too

P0107 is a MAP low voltage imput code. Are you replacing the wiring for it? If not, check the connectors/contacts for dirt/oil. Also look at the wiring to see if the insulation has rubbed off and may be grounding it.
Or the MAP sensor is just bad...

If you have a way of posting the vid that may help.

And the other codes.

Okay... now that is strange. ive never seen a MAP do that... the 3.8 guys will have to chime in on that. does it screw in or clip in? maybe the pressure is getting too high and that is a blow off sefety mechanism? double check the PVC lines to make sure they are clear. other than that im not sure what the MAP is doing...

replacing the wires cant hurt. keep us posted.
