i was looking around and found that slr motorsports makes a chip for monte carlos that adds hp and tq now i know not to expect the 50 hp gain that it says for some cars but is the 75 bucks worth what it might give me? has anyone ever used it if so please give me some guidance thanks oh and its a 01 ss na

 

the mods are simple pcm v1.0 from 3800 and kncai

 

if you got that PCM from 3800performance ,taht chips will hurt you.

everything that can be done tuning wise to the car is in that PCM.... that chip, when you get it, will have you cut wires and hook it up somehow.. that ontop of the fact taht they don't do anything really to a stock car all add up to mean it would hurt your car.
