I have a 2003 Jeff Gordon Monte, 106k miles, excellent condition.

Last night, I noticed my shifter all of a sudden acting up....as in it's rough to shift from park to reverse, or drive, etc. The car still runs perfect, and it is not showing any shifting issues when driving.

any ideas on what the issue could be would be appreciated.

 

Beside a shifter cable I don't know anything else related to a shifting mechanizem
