I have never seen that mount/(torque strap) snap...ever!

hmmm, Well since I'm planning on doing an L67 top swap w/ SC ANYWAY, might as well replace em both with the supercharged versions to start with. I just can't stick with the chain!! knowing that I'm runnin my engine while somethin's not right under the hood drives me absolutely BATTY! add that to my Lead foot and addiction to the sound of squealin' tires... yeea... Chains gotta go. Thanks again Jerry! GM part numbers help immeasurably!

I've snapped a couple before from sheer torque. I have 3 extras laying around in my garage if you don't want to pay stealership prices($75+) if I recall correctly. And the only difference in mounts for the L67 is the passenger side. The driver side mount is the same.

how much would you be lookin' for? And didn't know that about the mounts! still learnin' new things about my MC.

Mine is also broken, but getting replaced by the CSC shaft soon, so I never bothered replacing it with one from an L67

I may well be in touch with ya mate, I NEED to replace it sooner rather then later. But, have to see how finances roll this month, some uhh... unexpected expenses have seen fit to raid my wallet this month.
