Default Secondary cooling fan question

At what point does the secondary cooling fan start up? I have not seen it kick in yet and I have no power going to it at the motor itself. Just wondering if they dont come on till the engine reaches a higher temperture than normal. Anyone know how its set up to run? Primary comes on just fine. Thanks!

yes the second fan does activate on a higher temp. somewhere around 20* higher. are you having over heating problems? you could always wire a relay and trigger the 2nd fan when the first comes on. i did this before i bought my tuner. with the tuner you can have the fans on at what ever temp you want.

What controls it? PCM? It was doing some over heating with old coolant, flushed it last night and will see how it goes.

It should turn on at 222 degrees I believe. Also it should kick on with the AC
