Sbc 350 hp/tq cast bottom end rating?? Help

Default Sbc 350 hp/tq cast bottom end rating?? Help

Hey everyone i was wondering if someone can tell me an idea on how much a sbc 350 stock bottom end can handle cast crank rods flat top pistons nothing is forged?? Thanks

Stock around 350-400 hp or so

I wouldn't put any power adder to it and expect it to live. Even with aftermarket hypereutectics, they're brittle.

Forging a rotating assembly is dirt cheap anymore.

Thanks for info, im looking to put these twisted wedge heads on but dont want bottom end to start to fall apart, motor is making 328 hp and. 355 ft lbs and what ive read threw and trickflow reps they said that the heads give and average 50 more hp and 20 ft lbs over the stock heads on a 350

You should be fine with those heads
