As mentioned above, a canned tune is not ideal at your level. Sure, it should work assuming they tuned it correctly. Those cams aren't drastically different enough that fuel trims couldn't compensate- but you'll certainly never get it dialed in. The way I see it, you have 3 options (ranked best to worst):

-Take a road trip to a major 3800 vendor for on-site tuning.
-Buy HPT or PT (either can be had for under $500) and spend some time learning how to tune.
-Go to a local performance shop that does GM tuning and has HPTuners. I'm sure there are some big name LSx tuners out in your area (or at least within driving distance since you're on the east coast). Sure, these engines have some quirks and such, but a tuning shop that's used to GM pcm tuning should be able to do a perfectly acceptable job.

Piston are fine I check them out already when Headgaskets where changed an I made a mistake but it's tuned for a xp cam an I have a s1x cam an it's hard for me to get a custom tune because no one in my area does anything with 3800 so idk what to do
A pcm properly tuned for a XP cam should make the car at least run decently with an S1X. If the car is running that poorly, something is wrong. Either you've got a mechanical or electrical problem, or the pcm was tuned incorrectly (certainly wouldn't be the first time).

Mechanically, you could have a vac leak, or the cam installed wrong, etc. Electrically, you could have a sensor going out, or a ground not hooked up properly. Tuning wise, they might have fat fingered in the wrong injectors, or copied the wrong MAF table.

From the other thread- you said you have an aeroforce. What kind of readings are you seeing that are abnormal? What kind of driving conditions is the engine running poorly in?

I just think we're going down the wrong path in thinking that the tune being for a slightly different cam is making the car run poorly.
