Replace Fuel Filter in 06 with 3.5

Default Replace Fuel Filter in 06 with 3.5
Anybody have any info or tips on changing the fuel filter on 06 with a 3.5?

I checked my Haynes manual and no info, and searched here

Anything special about it?

The 2006/2007 Monte's with the V6 do not have a fuel filter that can be replaced. There is a screen inside the tank, but its not a standard fuel filter.

correct ^ ^ ^

no user-serviceable fuel filter... there's a "sock-like" screen/filter inside the gas tank, that's part of the fuel pump...

you'd have to replace the whole fuel pump if that screen/filter went bad...
