Default Quick LIM question

I'm going to be doing the LIM gasket on our 04 supercharged within the next month. I've done dozens of LIM gaskets on series 1 and 2 N/A engines but only 1 on a supercharged. I know on the series 1 supercharged 3.8 you didn't need to remove the supercharger to remove the lower intake. Does the same ring true on the L67? I'm just putting together a parts list and need to know if I need the plenum gasket and o rings. Thank you

I'd take it off anyways, from what I've seen a lot of times the stock s/c gasket can get some oil soak from the pcv, and gets a little nasty around the egr port. Its only like a $5 gasket, so I'd change it too.

Oh, and if I were you, I'd do the aluminum LIM gaskets instead. They're a little more pricey, but I think they're a much better piece.

Thank you. I'll take it off and replace the gasket just to be safe. Its not too much more work.

I didn't know they made the aluminum LIM gasket got the L67 but I'll get it. Good to know. I put the aluminum ones on my 99 Bonnevilles SLE
