Put MY Monte on the Bottle :)

RE: Put MY Monte on the Bottle :)
Yea. It kinda doubles as both.
Usually the way I spray is as follows:
Bring up the car to about 30mph hard out of the hole
Catch traction while still under WOT
Hit the spray (cruise button, automatically starts spraying because I am already at WOT)
Followed by a smile as the car tears through first and second with no KR

isn't the nitrous bottle ideally supposed to be running along the center axis of the car instead of perpendicular to it like you have it?
Also, I'd personally paint those purple thing under the hood if you're really intent on hiding it, its kindof a dead giveaway.

With nitrous its not so important to have the bottle mounted parallel with the body as it is to have the propper angle.
Nitrous bottles have a small siphon tube inside that run up to the flow valve. If you have the bottle mounted flat than the siphon tube will not always be submerged in liquid nitrous when the bottle is low and the vehicle is accelerating hard. This would create a surging affect when on the spray
The way I have it mounted is correct anglewise, and I am not going to gain anything by spining the bottle because even under load the siphon tube is still submerged. I have already run through 2 full 10lb bottles and when they get low (around 500psi) i dont see any mentionable pressure drop.
...and as for the purple
Im working on it

*UPDATE
Purge Pics!
ok...the first pic here shows where the purge valve is routed (directly above the monte emblem on the front bumper). Evrything is hidden really nice. Unless your were really looking for a purge valve, you wouldnt even notice the little hole. The pics do this no justice:
The switch is REALLY trick. I don't use my cig. lighter for anything, so i pulled out the receptical and drilled out the center. Then I mounted a really small black momentary switch to activate the purge. When you push the lighter in it hits the switch and sets off the purge. There is still enough spring so when you let go, the cig. lighter automatically pops back out!
...and of course some "in action" shots!
