power log
#2
A powerlog is a product that ZZP produced that improves exhaust flow in the front of the engine. Here is a link to it: http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=208&catid=110
Is it worth it? It depends. If you're going to go turbocharged, then yes it is worth it. Otherwise, you will be better off saving just a little more money and buying headers instead.

IMO it depends how far you want to go with modding. If you just plan to do a few cheap bolt ons and be done with it (ie 3.4" pulley setup)- then a PLOG will work just fine- they're cheap (like $100 used or less) and aren't nearly as hard as headers to install.
With that said, headers have become dirt cheap for these cars now- if you plan to go further than a 3.4", I'd skip straight to headers regardless; if you're just doing basic bolt ons (like a 3.4" or 3.5" setup)- even then you still should consider them since a used 3" catless downpipe and a used PLOG run about $200 for the pair, and brand new headers aren't much more expensive. Obviously install is a good bit worse with headers (especially depending on brand), but they will make more power than a PLOG+3" DP.
