possible cruise control porblem....help?
hey fellow carlo drivers!
ummm i believe i may have found myself in a big wtf moment. This has happened to me 2 times now,I'll be driving my car(2000 carlo ss 3800 series||) down the highway on cruise(it'll cost me less than a speeding ticket) i say around 118kmh. The first time ths problem occured the car bucked i was at 2250rpm and it dropped to around 1950-2000rpm, and the car placed itself normally no trouble. 2nd time around it repeated and this time after bucking the car downshifted itself, rpm's back up to 3000rpm next came a catalyst smell, and i know for a fact my catalytic is perfectly fine. After rpm-ing at 3g the car dropped 400 rpm and stalled....I quickly looked outmy rearview to see if i was dropping liquids which i was not. Started the car back up checked all my gauges which were at very good operating temps. I continued to drive the rest of the way to my destination without using cruise and the problem never re-occured... it's a long story but i need some help. please and thanks everyone.

i had recently changed the intermediate pipe due to a hole in the resonator, so rather than through on a quick fix walker which was 2 inches 2 short although its the proper replacement, i decided to chnge the whole pipe and i took the time to check the cat at the same time
