man.... im smelling coolant burning in my car... and the fans arent running when i stop at red lights so the car is overheating past the point it usually does...
whats the worse case scenario for the burning coolant? please tell me.. im 17 years old hope its not very expensive....

Sorry, for some reason I did not see this one....
Sounds like you have a bad temp sending unit. Burning coolant is never a good sign, are you leaking fluid anywhere? Tailpipe smoke? Check your oil to make sure you dont have water mixing with the oil.
