Default Performance Chips

Do they work, or are they just bs???

Theyre BS.. Just a little resistor or module to make the car run rich a little.. After a while the PCM catches onto it anyway and corrects it.

Thanks for clearing that up. Glad i didn't spend my 76 bucks on that thing.

Wow you can almost buy a PCM tune for 76 dollars. But yes, these "chips" are nothing more than a gimmick.

I have the Hypertech power programmer III and it did great.. Changed the shift points to where i want to set them and remove the top end governor and adjusted the mixture for more power. I choose the option for running 93 octane for more power . I saw a big difference.,,,

What you have and what hes asking about are two different things.. What youre talking about is well known and very useful.
