thanks bumpin, im looking to get my pcm sent in and tuned, who should i send it to and what should i have done to it? i dont want to send it in and get it done wrong
Any of the major 3800 vendors would be a good bet- like ZZP, or if you can get a DHP or something. I just usually trust the people who deal almost exclusively with these engines moreso than some random company that does generic pcm tuning.

okay, i asked zzp and he just told me to stress that i have the 3400, i kind of like wbs's customer service better tho, much more humane haah so i think ill ask them what they can do or maybe ill ask overkill if i can send mine in too because he actually sells the 3400 pcm

Overkill is very popular, I don't think I've heard anything bad about him at all. PCM's for the wbody are his thing too- I wouldn't hesitate to buy one from him.

ZZP customer service is marginal at best. The bad thing is they're such a big company that its hard to give personal support. I can't imagine the volume of emails and tech support calls they receive. I'm not trying to down them, they've helped the wbody market greatly- and I've spent a good bit of money with them, but I would never brag about their customer service.

WBS is much much smaller (only run by 2 or 3 people I believe), and their customer service seems much better for sure. Every issue I've had with them has been resolved quickly and personally.
