positive on the mc I had this issues for the longest thought it was the maf sensor of the o2 sensor didn't really affect driving
Yikes, way positive on the MC and way negative on the GP, sounds like a maintenance headache trying to fix 2 cars.
The bad thing with way skewed trims like that is how the 3800 does WOT fueling is different from more modern cars that often have dedicated WOT tables. With the 3800, it can carry a learned trim at cruise into WOT. This can be dangerous, especially for supercharged engines - particularly those with smaller pullies. As the system runs a narrowband O2, it really has no idea what the actual O2 output is at WOT. So you could be targeting one AFR, and the pcm is pulling it off what you commanded just because it's trying to match the offset it had been seeing.
Finally gave in and took the car to meineke this is what I paid 75bucks for basically told me a pcm a maf sensor or map sensor
So they told you it's one of those 3 things and to finish diagnosing yourself?
PCM is going to be tough if that's the culprit as you've paid for a tuned PCM. Would kinda suck to buy another and have to ship it back out to pay for tuning again. I wonder if they'd give you a discount due to the issue?
Basically they said the codes I had were p101 maf out of circuit 441 1441 404 1404 p1260 which I knew I had these codes the tech said buy a high performance maf sensor the front desk guy said get the pcm out of the donor car but basically I would have to take care of that first before further testing due to the light being on cel they said my fuel trims were off
Got a ? If u look at the pcm tables for what I bought from zzp when they changed the tables to l67 would that automatically include the injectors even though it would have l67 injectors from the engine would it be different from just putting gtp injectors into a gt

Definitely wouldn't buy a 'high performance MAF'. OEM works just fine and the true 'performance upgrade' MAFs are external (to allow for higher flow especially when coupled with a larger TB) which would complicate your PCM tune issue as the tables will be totally different.
A bad pcm could be a possibility although certainly less likely than a bad sensor. As mentioned though, if it is proven bad, it would suck as youd basically lose the money for the tune unless they'd be willing to discount a do over on the same tune.

Not sure I'm following here. You selected the L67 injector option for the GP. So the pcm they sent you should have the L67 injector tables in it instead of L36. If this is the car you suspect has a bad pcm, youd probably have to swap in some L36 injectors if you wanted to test if another stock donor pcm would cure the fuel trim issue. Either that or send it out to also get flashed which would be pretty pricey for a test.
Got the car started today swapped out the pcm with one from 01 special edition grand prix car started right up swapped zzp tuned pcm no start swapped back to donor pcm car started
